When you are have the privilege of being the celebrant at a couple's wedding, you are normally immersed in a myriad of emotions. These include nervousness on the couple's behalf, excitement that the ceremony proceeds seamlessly and then immense joy as they become a newly wed.
During these special moments is not really a time for making mental notes on the order nor detailed sections of a ceremony, so this blog is me sharing my thoughts on all things ceremony without overloading on too much detail.
An initial coffee date is where we can relax and discuss the ins ands outs of how you see your ceremony and where I'll walk you through the legal obligations and different sections of a typical ceremony.
There's plenty of reading material both on my website and in the land of Google, but there's nothing quite like someone slowly painting a picture of how your ceremony will unfold.
From music choices, seating and standing arrangements, vow and ring wording, the signing process right through to the heady recessional, we'll cover this through a pace that works for you.
You'll walk away from our get together knowing that you have someone in your corner that understands the enormity of what you are both undertaking.
Whilst it's important that you understand the different aspects of your ceremony, it's my job to ensure it all comes together in a professional, timely and respectful manner.
My main aim through out this initial process is that you are aware of what is transpiring, whilst being as comfortable and calm as can be with one main thing in your mind; marrying the love of your life.
